Our story.

Founded in Boston, nuumusic is a creative company and community collective connecting music, media, technology, and opportunity. With chapters in Boston and Los Angeles, we bring together artists, engineers, producers, and creative professionals to develop their skills, share their work, and build lasting connections.

Our story began with a donation-based community recording studio designed to make music production more accessible. That foundation grew into three connected branches: nuumusic Studios, supporting recording, production, and audio engineering; nuumusic TV, highlighting artists, interviews, product reviews, and independent event coverage; and nuumusic AV Solutions, providing audio and video installation and production services. As an audio and video contracting agency, nuumusic connects clients with skilled professionals for recording sessions, live events, media production, and residential and commercial AV projects.

Community development remains central to our work. Through hands-on training, mentorship, and professional placements, we help emerging talent gain practical experience and access opportunities. Our work has also included supporting music creation during incarceration and providing production training and studio resources after release—reflecting our belief in the value of creativity, belonging, and second chances.

Our relationships span music, media, and community organizations, including work with Perfecting Home Church and Record Book Studios, alongside independent media coverage of NAMM, SXSW, and Something Dope for the People. Through gatherings such as Nuumusic Brunch, we create space for people to meet, exchange ideas, and collaborate.

From Boston to Los Angeles, our purpose remains the same: to help people turn creative potential into meaningful opportunities.
